We photograph the day as it happens — not the day as a Pinterest board.
Something New and Blue is Anne and David — a husband-and-wife studio in Santa Ana. Photographs and film. Photojournalism first: clean, crisp, a mix of modern and traditional, from getting ready through the last song.
Over 350 weddings across Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, and farther. We will still find the angle. We will still let the room be itself.

Photo booths
from $1,200Enclosed, printed, a little private. Dusty-blue backdrop, on-site prints, up to twelve in a frame — not a kiosk with plastic props.
Montage films
from $650A short film of the two of you, before today. Scanned photographs, chosen music, four to six minutes — cocktail hour, not a dinner halt.
Elopements
from $2,200Two or three hours. Courthouse, the bluff, a Tuesday on the beach. Same look as the wedding day, fewer hours.

The studio
A small team. A Santa Ana studio. A lot of weddings behind us.
We started as Push and Scream — guests would push the button and scream. The booths led to photographs, then to film. Anne and David still work that way: close, adaptive, a little loud when the dance floor asks for it.
